I recently stayed at Le Petit Fort for a week while visiting the D-Day beaches and surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly, offering helpful information and even arranging for fresh bread delivery each morning. The accommodation itself is a beautifully restored stone house, retaining many original features while providing all the necessary modern comforts. The kitchen was functional and well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub and heated pool were a lovely addition, set in a picturesque setting with sheep grazing in the nearby pasture. I highly recommend staying at Le Petit Fort for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

The owners were super helpful and lived nearby, so they were always available if we needed anything. The place was so spacious, with 3 bedrooms instead of the 2 that were advertised. The village was quiet, which was perfect for us to relax after a day of exploring the Normandy D-Day Beaches and Memorials. And oh my gosh, the garden was stunning with beautiful roses and even some sheep in the back paddock. We didn't get to use the hot tub, but it looked so inviting! it was a great experience and we highly recommend staying here.
If I had to pick one thing, it would be that there wasn't much natural light coming into the building. But honestly, we were busy exploring all day, so it didn't bother us too much.

Our stay at Le Petit Fort in the charming village of Beny-sur-Mer was simply delightful. The beautifully restored stone house provided a perfect setting for our family getaway. The hosts, who lived next door, were incredibly welcoming and offered valuable insights about the surrounding areas. They even arranged for fresh bread delivery each morning, adding a touch of warmth to our mornings. The proximity to the D-Day beaches, the Bayeux War Cemetery, and the Tapestry Museum made it easy for us to explore and learn about the region's history. The accommodation itself was thoughtfully designed, preserving the original features while offering all the necessary comforts of home. The functional kitchen allowed us to prepare meals together, and the comfortable beds made for peaceful nights. We particularly enjoyed the heated hot tub and pool, set against a picturesque backdrop of grazing sheep. We highly recommend Le Petit Fort for an unforgettable family experience.
For families like ours, with multiple children, an additional bathroom would have been ideal.

Beautiful French country experience! Stayed in a charming old stone house with worn-down stone steps. Had full cooking facilities and even a washing machine. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, providing us with additional information about the area. The location was perfect for visiting Normandy Beach and the Veteran's Museum. Plus, they offered us the use of a hot tub, which was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring.
The natural light in the house was limited, which made it feel a bit dark and dreary at times. the village itself didn't have any amenities, so we had to drive a couple of miles to the nearest supermarket.

The room at Le Petit Fort was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The private bathroom was a real treat, with a choice between a refreshing shower or a relaxing bath. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the view from the room. However, I understand that everyone has different preferences and others might still find it enjoyable.

The kitchen was mind-blowing, fully equipped with modern appliances. The yard was super nice for kids to play in. The owner, who lived in the same house, was incredibly helpful and communicated proactively for a smooth check-in. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could need, including a super comfy bed. It was a really quiet and relaxing hideaway. The hot tub was jaw-droppingly FABULOUS! And it was conveniently located just 10 mins away from town and supermarkets. Loved every bit of our stay!
